Pap pen, Regular (for Immuno staining)

The Pap pen is a special marking pen that provides a thin light blue hydrophobic barrier when a circle is drawn around a specimen on a slide.

This barrier is highly resistant to PBS, TBS and TBST and keeps staining reagents within the target area on the slide, minimizing the reagent volume required. Multiple sections each surrounded by a circle can be stained on the same slide.

The K600 has a 4mm tapered point and provides approximately 800 applications.

• shake well before use
• push the tip of the pen gently several times to saturate
• overlap the circle several times to ensure there is a complete barrier
• the circle is removed by xylene
