About Us
Trajan Scientific and Medical
Trajan has been supplying Australian laboratories for more than 30 years. Our aim is to influence the continuous improvement of global diagnostic practices through the supply of quality and enhanced pathology products.
Today Trajan is an Australian success story; employing nearly 400 staff worldwide, driven by an enduring vision to make a positive impact on society.
As many of our Australian and New Zealand customers know, the Trajan journey started back in 2011 when we acquired Grale Scientific in Melbourne (and then later in 2013, HD Scientific in Sydney, and SGE Analytical Science). Well a lot has happened since then, but we are still 100% Australian owned and continue to place great importance on delivering products to you that will optimize the clinical and/or analytical workflows and quality of result outcomes. We want to make a difference and have positive impact on the work that you do.
You may have heard in recent news, that Trajan was named in Australia's top 20 'Businesses of Tomorrow' from an independent Deloitte/Westpac review of almost 2,000 businesses across the country. Trajan was identified as a business with high potential in the study recognising 'great Australian businesses today, with a clear vision for tomorrow'.
We also work closely with our academic partners across the country in driving translation and global commercialisation of Australian-developed technology.
